01
The Problem
I
No Structured Prep in CEE
University courses cover theory, but there is no clear path to finance recruiting in Budapest. Students are left to figure it out on their own.
II
Information Asymmetry
Most students have no idea how recruiting actually works, when they should start preparing, or what skills they need to get in.
III
Inadequate Alternatives
University classes are too broad, online platforms are expensive, and no student club in the region fills the gap between academics and real recruiting.
IV
Competitive Disadvantage
Students in Central and Eastern Europe start later and fall behind peers at top European universities who get structured preparation from day one.
02
How We Work
A two-year program that takes you from the fundamentals to advanced finance. Each year builds on the one before it.
Entry Prep
OptionalEntry Prep
If you are new to finance, this is where you start. It covers the basics you will need before joining the main program: how finance careers work, introductory accounting, Excel fundamentals, and capital markets. You will also work through simple cases and compete in an entry-level case competition.
- Finance career overview
- Accounting fundamentals
- Excel basics
- Capital markets
- Intro cases
- Entry-level case competition
Year 1
Investment Banking Track
This is where the technical foundation gets built. You will learn how to value companies, build financial models from scratch, and understand how M&A deals actually work. By the end of the year, you should be able to walk into a technical interview and hold your own.
- Financial modeling (DCF, CCA, PTA)
- Company valuation
- M&A process and deal mechanics
- Pitchbook preparation
- Mock technical interviews
- Recruiting preparation and timeline
Year 2
Advanced Finance Track
The second year goes deeper. You pick a specialization and work on real-world projects. Whether that is private equity, hedge funds, or quantitative finance, the goal is to go from understanding the basics to being able to do the actual work.
- Private equity (LBO modeling, deal structuring, IC memos)
- Hedge fund strategies and portfolio construction
- Quantitative finance fundamentals
- Investment thesis development
- Advanced case competitions
03

Four specializations that match the main career paths in finance. Pick the one that fits where you want to go.

03
Hedge Fund / Public Markets
Focus on the public markets side. You will learn equity research, develop investment theses, and build portfolio strategies.
